The Centre at Lexus Escondido

The Centre, an event venue housed at Lexus Escondido along with Cohn Restaurant Group’s Vintana Restaurant, contacted us at the end of 2019 with the need to revamp their digital marketing efforts. Their goal was to reach more leads interested in booking their event spaces for weddings as well as corporate and social events.

We partnered with Jana Devan, founder of Zettist, to lead the content strategy, writing, and social media initiatives. 

Diving straight in to research and discovery, we formulated a strategy that mapped out our digital marketing approach for 2020 and beyond. 

Just as we started to dive in, the pandemic was upon us and completely shut down all gatherings. We pivoted quickly, proposing a much needed website overhaul that originally wasn’t in the budget. Allocating what would have been marketing and ad dollars to a brand new website was just the thing The Centre needed to set them up for success in the aftermath of the pandemic.

In addition to a complete website redevelopment, we updated the email marketing strategy to clean their subscriber list and increase engagement and now send out one to two email marketing messages each month. We also drive on-going content marketing efforts on their blog and on social media, as well as run paid ads via Google and Pinterest. All of these digital marketing activities work together to drive traffic to the website and ultimately result in converting more qualified leads for The Centre.

Now nearly a year after the new website was launched, and following a year of organic search efforts through content marketing, The Centre is generating more leads than ever at the tail end of the pandemic.
