Starwest Botanicals, Herb & Spice Supplier

Starwest Botanicals, one of the largest suppliers of organic herbs in the U.S., came to us at the end of 2021 needing marketing help.

We started by creating a digital newsletter that spoke to their two key audiences, wholesale customers and retail customers. Each quarter, we write a trend article for the newsletter and incorporate additional content from the Starwest team such as industry updates and team spotlights.

LinkedIn Marketing

At the beginning of 2022 we began managing Starwest’s LinkedIn Company Page. Their first venture into social media was met with enthusiasm from the Starwest team and their customers and prospects.

Our first month’s posts to the LinkedIn Company Page resulted in much higher than average Impressions and Engagement. We saw more than 9,000 total Post Impressions in the first month, with Impressions per post ranging from 500-2,2000.

By our fourth month of LinkedIn Company Page management for Starwest, their Engagement rate had surpassed 10%. Their monthly engagements surpassed those of their largest competitors (many of whom have 2x-8x as many followers).

We managed Starwest’s LinkedIn Company Page for a full 12 months, until December 2022. We generated more than 100,000 Impressions, averaging 8,500/month and 700/per post. Their following grew from 1,051 to 2,136 followers.
