The second annual San Diego Design Week, presented by Mingei International Museum, takes place September 8-12, 2021! Join in on presentations, studio tours, workshops and more that celebrate design throughout the binational design community of San Diego and Tijuana.
We are partnering with RAD LAB, the architecture firm that designed our office, to host a tour of our studio. Guests will tour our office and adjacent Noble Guest House built out of a 40 foot shipping container. See how design transformed our ordinary backyard into an extraordinary combination of a work from home space and guest quarters.
Plus, you’ll learn what it takes to build with shipping containers from the architecture firm who built downtown San Diego’s Quartyard, featured at SDDW 2020, entirely out of shipping containers.
The event will feature a walk-through tour primarily outdoors with one group entering the interior space at a time.
