This past weekend we helped put on the Kensington Talmadge Business Association’s 5th Annual Spring Walkabout. This event has a lot of meaning for us.
The very first Walkabout was an idea Angela suggested to the KTBA board back in 2017, and she has coordinated it ever since as a board member. More than that, many of our clients participate (4 this year!). It’s so fun to see our clients, the evolution of the branding we created for the event, and how it’s coordinated by a larger and larger team each year.
Cris also built a QR code-based scanning web app for the event last year, which has allowed the board to track how many people attend, which businesses they visit, and more.
While this will be Angela’s last year on the KTBA board, we are sure we’ll be involved with the event as volunteers and attendees for many years to come!
Congrats to the whole KTBA board on another successful event. And thanks to the local community for coming out and spending the afternoon with us—we tracked attendees from 13 different San Diego neighborhoods!
